It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Winston Dunbar Holder on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario.

Husband to May Holder. Proud and loving father of Andrea Holder-Bent (Andrew Bent) and Colleen McMurtry (Kyle McMurtry). Beloved grandfather to Ashley Bent (O’Neil Morrison), Ashanti Bent (Madison Errington), Darcy, Quinn and Riley McMurtry.

Loving brother to Ruby Gill (predeceased), Myrtle Holder (predeceased), Monica Berridge-Sills (Mervyn Berridge-Sills), Valerie Clement (Colston Clement), and Percy Holder (predeceased).

Loving uncle to Avis Webb, Linda Gill, Angela Gill, Duane Holder, Gayle Clement, Miranda Grant, Stacey Holder and Jaime Holder. Loving great-uncle to Stephanie Gill, Sakeya Cumberbatch, Noella Smiley-Holder, Melanie Clement, Victoria Isaac, Jacen Grant, Sydney and Spencer Holder, and Ethan James Lewicki.

The funeral service to celebrate Winston will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Cathedral Church of St James, located at 65 Church Street, Toronto, ON, M5C 2E9. Visitation begins at 10:00 am, immediately followed by the service at 11:00 am.

The family would like to thank the ER staff at North York General Hospital, the staff at Sunnybrook Health Centre, and the staff in the ICU at Ross Memorial Hospital.
