Obituary of Mr. Jean-Philippe André Boerner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Philippe Andre Boerner, age 52, on 22 November, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario.  Philippe was a beloved son, brother, father, cousin and friend, who touched the lives of many with his kindness and sense of humour.  Philippe had a rich career as a skilled machinist with Owens-Illinois, a profession he embraced with passion and dedication.  He also found great joy in his love of music and sound, which started in Grade 7, building bigger and better multiple complex electronic systems over the years, which rocked the block during his gigs with Dub-Rock Sound System!  He was professionally known in the community as  Phil Dubrock.

Philippe is survived by his mother, Daisy Bernice, his daughter, Chloe Mary, his sister, Lee Ann Marie, his niece, Courtney Marie, and his nephew, Andre Calvin.  He is predeceased by his father, Joseph.

As we remember Philippe, we celebrate a life filled with love and laughter.  His legacy of kindness, his passion for music and sound, and his incredible creative talent.  Jean Philippe Andre Boerner will be fondly remembered by all who loved him, and had the privilege of knowing him.
