I met Ruth in 1981 when we worked in the SIS branch of IBM. Our friendship extended outside of IBM with various visits to family events. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Ruth's children, grand children, her sister and the rest of their family. Please be assured that she is resting in the arms of Jesus. Monica Graham.

Q: How did you meet Mrs. Ruth?
A: I worked with Ruth at IBM for more than 2 decades. She was a mentor, work wise and life wise. She ran the SIS Security Master department like a tight ship. We all learned discipline and focus from the master of them all.
She was most proud of her own family at home. She spoke of her husband, her daughters and grandchildren often.
To Trish, Sherry and all of Ruth’s family, my sincere condolences. Please know that Ruth will always be remembered well. I told her that she was my lighthouse when she retired and left the team in my care. I am forever thankful for the privilege that she came to my own retirement just months ago. My memories of working with her will always be cherished.

My condolences to everyone connected to my dear Sister Ruth! Will never forget you! Thank God, for all the times we spent together, lunches, trips and my maid of honour at my wedding. You are finally with your beloved Robert and mum. May you rest in peace my dearest Ruth. Some day when my heart is not so heavy I will spend some time with Trish and Sherry and pass on some of the happy and funny times we had together. My condolences to the Williams family on the passing of a great lady. I worked for Ruth at IBM at the start of my career. She was a great teacher and a kind boss. I had the pleasure of working with her in SIS for many years. The SM potlucks were famous!
She spoke of her daughters and grandchildren often with pride and love. My thoughts and prayers go out to you now and the extended Williams during this difficult time.
