Obituary of Mrs. Alzira Joaquim Pereira
Alzira, 61, of Toronto, Ontario died peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to the Late Vitorino and Natalina Rodrigues in Juhu, Mumbai, Alzira was immersed in a life of faith from an early age that would continue to be a foundation of strength and support throughout her life.
With a love for cooking, Alzira always enjoyed having people over for barbecues, fish fries, high teas and chaat nights. She was also witty, artistic, generous and a linguistic guru in any match of Scrabble. But at her core, she was most devoted to her family, always looking out for their well-being and showing love every day in looking after them.
Alzira will be dearly missed by her husband Bosco, daughter Marishka, son-in-law Reuben, grandson Oliver, siblings, Vizy, Luiza, Pepi, and Vincy, in addition to many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Alzira left this world far too soon. She left a lasting impression on countless people and an incredible legacy that her family will carry on in memory of her forever.
