Obituary of Mrs. Minnie Woon-King Tam
In Loving Memory
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Minnie Woon King Tam; wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully in her home on the evening of September 12.
Minnie grew up in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in her twenties, meeting her husband, Raymond Tam, of 55 years soon after. She was a tenacious, loving, and gentle spirit; she enjoyed socializing over food, always dressed in her finest, travelling, dancing, late nights playing (and winning at) mah-jong, and being with friends and family.
With her personable and detail-oriented ways, she made a wonderful real estate representative and partner for many decades. Minnie had a great sense of humour with her laugh radiating across and filling any room.
The way Minnie showed her love was received by each person uniquely, and she will be missed dearly and remain forever in our hearts.
Minnie is survived by her husband, Raymond; her daughters, Louisa, Doris, and Christina; her son, Fred; her grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Jiamei, Zachary, and Émilie; and her sons-in- law, Bruce, Brad, and Luke.
