Our most sincere condolences to Stan, and June, Stan Jr., Mike and Dean and families on the passing of our beloved Ivy.
Ivy was a very special and wonderful person. She was very caring and always smiling and cheerful.
I (Mark) have known Ivy and Stan and their family for over 55 years. If I was visiting their home as a teenager in Jamaica, the offer of a lunch or dinner was inevitable, and what a great cook Ivy was!
We always enjoyed our visits to Ivy and Stan's home in Toronto as we would feel so welcomed, and Ivy would always insist on feeding us! Ivy was a very outgoing person and enjoyed her chats with anyone she met. She used to regale us with stories of her time in Jamaica teaching at Chinese School and singing and acting in a Hakka play at the Ward Theatre, and she was very proud of those days.
She will definitely be missed by all who knew her.
We love you Ivy, and may you rest in peace! God Bless!
Mark, Shirley and Chris Wade

We met Ivy and Stan for the first time when we were introduced as the" in-laws." We had a very nice meal at a Chinese Restaurant. We visited their home and met their son Stan and were shown pictures of their grandsons and other family members. We are very glad that Laura and Dean have found each other. They have a very loving and caring relationship

Our Sister Ivy will always be remembered by my brother Winston and I as our caring second mother. We never really lived with her because Ivy and my brother Arther, went to China as teenagers as was the custom then. When they returned to Jamaica, Ivy became a teacher at The Chinese Public School. Ivy married Stanford at a young age, started her own family but she never forgot us. She monitored our lives, insisted that we both go to school and kept in constant touch with us. In later years that did not change, When I got busy with my own career, she was the one who pick up the phone and called me. She was interested in the happenings in my life and even scolded me when I stepped out of line. Ivy, you will always be in my thoughts, and I will never forget my Big Sister.
