I first met Alan when he was President of Lever Detergents and I was newly hired as a Marketing Trainee in the late 70’s. He asked me about my goals. I answered, “I wouldn’t mind having your job one day!” He laughed. He thought that was audacious. Alan was a terrific leader and highly regarded in his role as President. My sincere condolences to his family.
Dear Cathy, Rob and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember visiting with your Dad at the cottage. He was interesting and very gracious to us.
Hugs, Art and Lynne
