My name is Kelvin Theodore Jobity,
youngest surviving son of the late Hendris(Jese) Jobity.
Hendris was a half brother of Louie Jobity, the late Celia & Elizabeth Okorie.
Of a younger generation, my memory of Auntie Elizabeth growing up in Trinidad, Petit Valley, TEAM Dr.
was limited to older siblings;
she was a very warm and friendly person.
Recently, I had the pleasure of sharing family memories with Elizabeth on the phone.
i was inspired by her high level of coherence for her age; her love of family, her faith, and her hope for the future, all great legacies to leave to the next generation.
and so today, saddened by her passing, on behalf of my family i am honoured to share our heartfelt condolences. May she rest in peace.
kelvin t. jobity and family.

I remember coming to Grandma’s house and it was the coziest and most nostalgic feeling place I’ve ever been to. I’d get picked up from school, Dad would drop me off and I would buzz in at the door and be met with the fresh smell of dry paint. I’ll never forget how nice that whole apartment smells. More importantly, Grandma loved having me and I loved being there. She would teach me times tables (mainly math) in the dining room and would get to watch TV with her on those plastic couches that she would always tell me not to rest my feet on. Grandma was so much fun to be around and I’m so grateful that I got to spend time with her during my childhood and that I got to show her my piano skills before she went to be with The Lord. I love you Grandma and I miss you lots! I know we will meet again someday!

Poem: We Love and Miss You Deeply
We love and miss you deeply,
We miss your smiles and laughs,
And all the food you’d cook weekly,
We miss all the wisdom you shared,
The stories you told of times past,
And all the ways you loved and cared,
The importance you placed on education,
Into creating a fulfilling and impactful life,
By your help and support without hesitation,
Thank you Grandma for all the moments we had together,
Thank you for your prayers, love, and beautiful presence
Your influence, impact and legacy lives forever,
We love and miss you deeply.

Q: What will you never forget about Mrs. Elizabeth?
A: I will never forget her Love ❤️ for us and the meals we had at her house. She made such delicious food and I will never forget her garlic spinach and potato salad especially. She always made us feel so loved whether we were visiting her or talking with her on the phone.
