Mr. Steven Bolt

Obituary of Mr. Steven Bolt

Please share a memory of Mr. Steven to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

July 13, 1961 - July 7, 2024

Steven James Bolt entered into rest on Sunday July 7, 2024, after a short but courageous battle with cancer at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, ON.  Steven was in his 63rd year.

Until the end he was brave, compassionate and had a good sense of humour and enjoyed a good laugh.
Steven truly cared about others before himself - he was such a special person.

Steven was born and raised in Scarborough, ON.  He lived in B.C. and Alberta for a couple of years before returning to Scarborough.  Steven attended Sir Sandford Fleming College in Lindsay, ON for Forestry.  After working in this field for a number of years,  he decided he needed a change.  He continued his education and completed an IT course.  Steven took great pleasure in his 17 years with TD as an Operation Analyst; a job which he enjoyed tremendously.

Steven’s other passions were playing ball hockey and baseball,
woodworking and playing either an electric or acoustic guitar. But Steven was most passionate about Uxbridge, where he had planned to build and then retire on the once family cottage property.

Steven was the eldest son to the late William James Bolt and Hazel (Marshall) Bolt.
Steven was the loving brother to Kathryn (Ed Hansen), Linda (Stephen Sutton) and David Bolt.
Beloved Uncle to Tyler (Jessica), James, Amy and Kyle.
And Great Uncle to Maryn.

Steven will be fondly missed and remembered by many family, friends and co-workers.

Taken far too soon.
May peace be with you dear, Steven.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
