My deepest condolences for the loss of Steve. It's been four months and I still think about him. His loss is profound.
I spoke to him nearly every work day for 17 years and, while I didn't personally know him, I felt like I did.
He was an absolute professional. He never strayed into passionate rants or lost his patience, unlike myself. He was smooth, calm, and efficient. And very knowledgeable. A true asset to TD Merchant Services.
On those few occasions I made him laugh, it was memorable. I will never forget his voice:
"Okay Randy, that HAS been updated."
Miss you, brother.
Love from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

My family and I lived beside the Bolt’s for many years. Steven was quiet, respectful and just an all around nice guy.
We moved when I was in my late teens and didn’t see Steven much after that. We did reconnect a few years ago and just before he passed I was able to talk with him on the phone and I am so thankful for that.
He was taken far too soon and will be missed.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Steve for the entirety of his position at TD bank. He was always such a pleasure to speak with and we always laughed together. Dear Kathryn and Linda, I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother Steve. I only knew him from ball hockey. It seems we both shared a passion that brought us together and made us friends. I think Steve came into the picture through contact in 1993 or so. I assisted on many goals for him and he assisted on goals for me. We shared good games and bad ones but Steve was always a great guy in all aspects both on and off the floor. He won our hearts from the moment we met and first played with him and now he will be sadly missed. We held the very next game in his honour with 15 seconds of silence and a stick tap. I know 15 seconds doesn't seem like much but when the players have waited all week to get underway, it's a long 15. We did the same for 2 other players so I know Steve would have been onside with that. Pun intended. Just happy that I was at least able to be his friend and team mate for the time that it was.
God bless you Steve and all your family. You will be sadly missed.

Q: What will you never forget about Mr. Steven?
A: Steven, Remi & myself were part of a team which we provided a gift for the TD Children's Party in 2012. It was a very busy day for the families and volunteers that attended this much anticipated event. There were always joy and smiles when a child recieves their gift from the various tables for a child from a newborn to a 10 year old. At times, we may get a little bit cheesy with the families.
I will never forget how Steven would be ready to jump in to help out with any to the events such as seasonal or organizing the sportig events (hockey or soccer).
Thank You Steven
for your dedication, hard work and leadership in all you have touched in both inside and outside the company.
May you continue to be the person as such in whereever you are with your gifts and talents... always missed....

We had the pleasure of working with Steven for 17 years at TD.
He was very pleasant, hardworking, dedicated, and respectable and helpful to all his friends and co-workers at TD.
Steven was especially admired and respected by the technicians to whom he supports daily.
He loved his job and troubleshooting their issues for the onsite technicians. Once the technicians got Steve on the phone, they knew their issues will be resolved in a quick manner. He left no stone unturned to find the answer to their problem.
Steven was highly regarded by all for his wealth of knowledge of the payment solution business.
I remember how happy he was when he played on the soccer team for TD tournaments. It was his highlight for the summer and really enjoyed this time with his teammates.
We (Violet; Virgilio and I) were able to visit Steve while in hospital, we had a few laughs and when we left, we were so delighted that we were able to spend this time with him. It was a memorable visit and so happy we were able to connect on that day. Soon after he left us to be with his loved ones who were waiting with open arms for him.
Steven left us with a void in our lives and one day we will meet again. You were loved by all, and we all miss you.

I had the pleasure of helping Steve with his condo purchase in Scarborough years ago, and since then, we stayed in touch and worked with him and his lovely family. Steve had a unique gift for brightening any day with his jokes. Even during my visit to the hospital, his humor and spirit shone brightly, and we shared many laughs together. He will be deeply missed.

I met Steve through the Scarborough knights ball hockey team they had been playing together longer than I had been alive at the time and they treated me like one of their own from the very start I started to build relationships with all of the guys involved and Peter was one of my favourite players to watch and play with the skill and speed he showed at his age was incredible I ended up recruiting him to my team called bad company and we ended up winning a championship together his character always stood out to me always smiling and always playing the game with his heart on his sleeve I will cherish the memories from ball hockey and the parking lot conversations for as long as I live thank you Steve for making me a better player and person I hope to be able to play the game with as much grace as you when I reach your age rest peacefully old friend you will be missed dearly on and off the floor ♥️♥️
