Obituary of Mr. James Nolan

NOLAN, JAMES (JIM) OLIVER

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jim on Monday, July 1, 2024 in his 88th year.

Beloved husband for 54 years of Norah Nolan. They moved from Ireland soon after marrying with their son, Michael and lived in Toronto since 1965. Jim worked in retail sales (men's fashion) his whole life, first with Eaton's for 40 years and then with Sears.

He will be missed by his sons, David and Michael (Christina) and his two grandchildren, Isaac and Sarah.

Thank you to the staff at Delmanor Wynford, though it was a short stay, he very much enjoyed his time living there. Also, the staff of Scarborough General Hospital for making his final days comfortable.

The family will receive friends at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., on Wednesday, July 10th from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church, 59 Heather Rd., Scarborough, on Thursday, July 11th at 10:00 a.m.

Interment Christ the King Cemetery.
