Obituary of Mrs. Robertina Livingston
February 15, 1934 – June 20, 2024
Ina Livingston passed away peacefully in hospital on June 20th, 2024 predeceased by her loving husband, Don in 2008.
She is survived by her children Jan Foster (Jerry), Craig Livingston and Blair Livingston as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews and their children. In addition, she has 3 surviving siblings – sisters Jean and Rena, and brother Ian.
Ina was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was the third eldest in a family of 11 children. She and Don were engaged in 1954, and Don came to Canada that same year, followed by Ina in 1955. They went back to Glasgow in 1956 for their wedding before returning home to build their life in Canada.
Ina worked at the Toronto Catholic District School Board for many years before retiring to spend time with Don and their family. Travel plans were always in the works and they enjoyed seeing much of Canada, Scotland, England and the Caribbean.
