I member Ina from the first day we met. she was dressed in a liberty dark brown dress and looked lovely. From that day forward we became fast friends. Our husbands worked for the same company and the general manager's wife had us over for tea. She was a
very social soul and we soon were a part of a great group. Mondays we washed, Tuesdays we had coffey
in the morning, Wednesday we ironed (yes, we actually pressed heat to cloth back then) Thursdays we all got together, children in tow of course,
for tea and cookies and then the husbands joined us for drinks. Weekends found us together as well. It was a great life! We later moved to Toronto and still spent time together but distance made meetings much more difficult but more precious. Don and Ina were always an important couple to us. We had many great parties at each other's homes. We know Don will welcome Ina with open arms and we wish them well and miss them dearly.
