Thrush family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. Mike was a great friend to me. He was kind and generous with a special sense of humor. I will always cherish the memories I have from him at the cottage. He always welcomed everyone with generosity and warmth.
A truly remarkable man, he shall be sorely missed but eternally remembered in my heart.

Irene, Ben, Karen and families. We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He has been such an intricate part of Kurt's life for so many years. Always supportive, always encouraging, always providing words of wisdom. Such a character! There was no one quite like Thrusher! We will miss his weekly touch base calls, stories, and gentle teasing. Our hearts go out to all of you.

We are close friends with Greg & Judy Thrush. I still remember a long time ago when Mike was just a police cadet and he stopped his police car near East York Collegiate in Toronto to say "hi". He tried to convince me to join the police force but I ended up following a different career path. Our hearts go out to Irene and the family at this sad time.

The Galloway family from Balsam Lake were very saddened and shocked by the loss of Mike!! We would like to send our deepest condolences to the Thrush family during this very difficult time. We have over 20 years of great and funny memories of Mike!! Such as amazing sea doo rides’ horse sled rides and listening to his funny stories’ Mike was a great cottage neighbour and friend!! He had a great caring personality and amazing sense of humour!! He will be deeply missed!!
