Obituary of Mr. Norman Russell Skinner
Norman Russell Skinner passed away on March 26th in his 95th year. He continued to live at home until just a week before his death. Norm was an amazing man who raised his family with so much love and kindness. He retired from the OPP as Superintendent at an early age, then enjoyed many wonderful years travelling, cottaging in Haliburton and wintering in Florida.
He will be lovingly remembered by his 3 daughters Norma (Patrick) Dever, Margaret (Demi) Thompson and Linda; His grandchildren Christopher, Kate and Bennett; His great grandchildren Draven, Katana, Sage, Everett and Mackenzie; His great great grandchildren; His sister Thelma; His sisters-in-law Eileen (Hank) Maltais and Judy Skinner, Marjorie Skinner, Marge Skinner and Gladys Skinner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife and best friend of 44 years, Theresa. His sisters Marlene and Laura; His brothers Bruce, Vernon, Bob, Jack and Harold; and his parents Russell and Isobella.
His life has been a blessing and we will be forever grateful.
