Indrani and I worked with Raj at CSL (Colombo). He was a good friend. We left CSL for Zambia in 1974 and since 1984 we have been in Melbourne, Australia. Lakshimi, I can't remember if I've met you but I do know Raj talking of you. I tried many times to see if I could trace him on the internet but was unsuccessful. That's a great photograph of him. Dear Aunty Vijiyam, Nina and family,
Our sincere condolences and prayers with you all during this time.
I wanted express my sincere gratitude and wished I took the time to tell uncle Raj - thank you. Noone ever took the time he did to sit with me and go over resume writing and interview skills after university. I only now know the importance of those skills and they have become a strength of mine as a result of his teachings. I recall in the moment wishing he would provide me with a connection to obtain my first job but instead he gave me something much greater - the tools to obtain it myself. I am forever grateful for that mentorship and it has been fundamental to any and all my career achievements.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Warm Regards
Suzie, Mike, Savina and Christian

Dear Ann, My heartfelt condolences to you and members of your family. I have such warm and fond memory visiting your house and having nice long sit down one and one conversation with your dad. The sumptuous meal that served us is still in front of my eyes. And how can I forget the fountain pen he had gifted me keeping my love for pens in mind. While he has moves to the spirit word he is with us. His lovely memories and what a loving and caring person he was will always be in my mind.

When I started with Bell Cabada, Raj was my mentor. He put me in the right carrer path .
He also was a key note speaker in one of the seminar organized by the ASGC.
He made an excellent presentation which was well received by those present.
His demise is a great loss to his family and the community
Please accept our sincere condolences.
May his soul rest in peace.

I never got to tell uncle Raj that he was my idol. I wanted to be like him career wise. He was the classiest human being and just the way he looked and carried himself with such class, you just wanted to respect him. I will share a couple stories with you. So when my sister Suzie and I we were kids and would come over, he would never let us swim alone, even though I said uncle Raj I have my colour blue in swimming, and I am a strong swimmer, he said Nina is a life guard and only when she is in the pool we could swim. He wouldn't budge no matter what and we always had to wait for Nina to get home after her job was done, so when we saw Nina oh boy were we excited. But my favourite story was in 1999 when I was working for Roger's at the 855 York Mills building, I see 3 men walking in togther Ted Roger's in the middle, John Tory to his right, who was the VP of Roger's at that time and uncle Raj. You won't believe the whole call centre was standing and I said uncle Raj and he came up and gave me an embrace and I got to shake Ted Roger's and John Torys hand. That was my highlight and I became a sensation at Roger's cause people saw that
