Obituary of Mrs. Helen Konstantakos

Please share a memory of Mrs. Helen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Helen was a special, one-of-a-kind woman, who commanded attention with everyone she encountered.  Not only was she a beautiful woman, with those beautiful blue eyes, but those of us that were lucky to count her as family, friend, acquaintance, had someone that always left us better to have known her.  If you fell into that group, she would have your back 100%.  She was proud to be Cypriot, and always spoke her mind, as we all knew too well.  She was very proud to be with the Toronto Police Service for over 30 years.  She has gone at a way too early age of 53 after a 4-year battle with breast cancer, but the warrior that she was, she fought each and every time there was a setback, and was an inspiration to us all.  We were blessed to share one last Christmas together as a family, before God decided that her time on Earth was done, and we were both grateful and thankful for that.  We will cherish the memories that were made in those 53 years, and will never forget her until our days are done on earth and we meet again.

Survived by her husband Gus, her mother Maria, her brother Alec and his wife Rita, and her adored niece Katrina (husband Mike) and nephew Adriano (long-term girlfriend Vanessa), as well as the many in-laws, uncles, aunts, cousins.  May her memory be eternal, and know that she is now reunited with her Dad, Charalambos, who she loved so dearly.
