Visiting Toronto will never be the same! Thank you Yogi uncle for all the kind words of encouragement, support and wonderful memories throughout my childhood. You will forever be in our hearts. Thanks for making our holidays in Toronto extra magical-slight confession on my part-I still don’t quite understand the intersection rules! I’ll make sure to learn them! RIP Uncle. In memory of Yogarajah Chithappa - sending deepest sympathies to my cousins. Chithappa was an uncle who went the extra miles to keep in touch with his extended family. He travelled to attend significant family events. And on his way to and from destinations he also made the effort to visit those living in the transit stops. Interested in everyone’s well being be they old or young. He will be missed. Love, Shivakami

my wife and i were deeply saddened by Yogas passing.I worked together closely with Yoga at Union Carbide Ceylon and later kept in touch as our paths crossed on numerous occasions in Colombo and Toronto.He had a very large and compassionate heart towards the many he met during his journey, and his colleagues at Union Carbide will remember him as a very fair and warm person.May him rest in peace! Kapila and Bemal Gunawardana.

I would like to pay tribute to Yogi. A remarkable human being with a caring heart and a quiet but large personality. He was a great volunteer;on the board of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario( now IAM( Institute for Advancements in Mental Health),as well as an avid advocate for mental health and fundraiser for schizophrenia- a cause close to his heart. Yogi brought his skill, compassion and strength to all he engaged in. I will always cherish his guidance,, wisdom and that warm laugh. He was a mentor to me and for this I am forever grateful.
