I remember Raj hanging out during youth group at CLA in Suriname and coming home to listen to the TV with us. Blessings and comfort be upon his family for he is Home now.

RIP friend. Raj was one of the first people I met when I came to Toronto in 1996. Have chatted frequently over the past 27 years. We both worked in adaptive technology field so often we chatted about technology. Will miss you!

Dear Uncle Boi,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this farewell message to you. The news of your sudden departure has left us all devastated and in disbelief. It feels like just yesterday when we were laughing, sharing our Suriname stories and planning everything from inventions, to business, to even our funerals.
You were not just an uncle to me; you were a father, a mentor, & my tech guru. Your infectious smile, your warm hugs, and your kind heart always made me feel loved and cherished. You had an incredible ability to bring joy and laughter to any room you entered, and your absence will be deeply felt by all who knew you. Even in the darkest of times you had a light that never dulled.
Your departure has left a void that can never be filled. The memories we shared will forever be etched in my heart. Though it pains me to say goodbye, I find comfort in knowing that you are now free from pain and suffering.
Uncle Boi, you were taken from us far too soon, and it is a tragedy we struggle to understand. But we must remember that life is unpredictable, and it is a reminder to embrace every moment, hold our loved ones close, and never take a single day for granted.
As we bid you farewell, please know that you will be dearly missed, and your memory will live on in our hearts forever. You have left an indelible mark on our lives, and your legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire us.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Uncle Boi. May your soul find serenity and joy in the heavens above. Until we meet again, know that we love you beyond words.

I am deeply saddened at the passing of Raj. His passing left a void in our lives that would be difficult to be filled! He was an extremely kind, compassionate and loving person. His time was always valuable to folks whom he met and to those who reached out to him in time of need.
Raj was an ordinary Guy doing extraordinary things in life. His commitment to serving humanity knew no bounds. His journey in life was never defined by the challenges he faced but rather by the grace with which he navigated them.
He will be remembered for his tireless commitment to his fellow Guyanese and others facing various visual challenges here in Toronto and in Guyana.
We are now faced with the arduous task of releasing this wonderful Soul to His Lord, and this we shall do with honour and great pride!
My condolences to the immediate family and to all who mourn his loss. Raj has left us with many memories that will be cherished for years to come. Travel in Peace my Brother!
May His precious Soul Rest in Eternal Peace and his memory be a Blessing to all!✝️

Raj, I met you through your cousin. I remember our travels on the ferry going to work to Georgetown. You walking to the radio station and me rushing to get into a taxi to get to work. I remember the alarm clock you give me with a cassette of Country music you taped yourself for my birthday. I still do have the poem you wrote for me. I remember you asking me to pray for you. I still have your text from last month for your birthday. I will miss our texts or our rare phone calls. What a beautiful tribute from your family. You have left a lasting impression on so many. I pray that your soul rest in peace and that you are resting in the sweetest arms of Jesus. Until we meet again✝️✝️✝️

Uncle Boyd, you left a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved you, especially me. I will always cherish the memories we had together—sharing a room when I was in high school, using anything we could get our hands on as drums, making up and singing silly songs, getting into mischief at CNIB and talking about girls, tech and music. My success in this world is because of your inspiration and guidance, especially when I lost my eyesight. You were always so positive, creative and resourceful.
