We've known Gloria for over 33+ years, ever since we moved to Kentish. Both Ray and Gloria were exceptional neighbours. Gloria was kind, loving person. Our sincere condolences to Karen & Tony, Jim & Dina and Susan & John. May Gloria's soul rest in eternal peace.

I met Gloria 46 yrs ago through her children Jim and Sue. Throughout the years Gloria was always cordial and friendly and cared deeply for her family and extended family.
When we first met I called her Mrs Imrie, as years went by we were on first name basis and then years later she became my mother-in-law. (MIL) as I affectionately referred to her.
Gloria loved to tell us of her travels and stories of her past and present. I loved sitting over coffee and having regular chats with her. Gloria was always well manicured, having her hair and nails done every Saturday morning.
She certainly loved her mashed potatoes, mashed turnip, roast Turkey and angel food cake.
Gloria was a force to be reckoned with. She said what she thought and stood by her convictions.
I’ll miss our laughs and battles over the years.

I am a lucky person because I had the chance to meet Gloria in my life. She was a wonderful person, gentle, sweet, lovely and sincere. We have not had the chance to spend a lot of time together, unfortunately. Spending Christmas Day with you and your family is one of the most beautiful memories I have with you. I adored getting your post cards, it was so sweet of you! You opened the door of your heart to me and that’s something I will never forget. I loved you as if you were my grandmother, and I will always cherish this special bond in my heart and in my thoughts. I will miss you so much ❤️

Gloria was a beloved member of our family for more than 25 years. She was a wonderful stepmother, step grandmother, and "GG" to our grandchildren. We have lovely memories of cottage days, family gatherings and shared travel adventures. She brought love and joy to my father during their 23 years of marriage. We will miss having her in our lives, but will cherish our memories. Karen and Tony
