We are saddened to hear of the passing of this dear sister in Christ. My husband and I became acquainted with her when we attended the Sabbath Church. Many years have gone by and we no longer worship there but Sister Grant continued to call us each and every Friday to check on us and wish us happy Sabbath. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. Gone but not forgotten.

Mother Grant, God saw that you were ready and he called you to take your rest. You will be greatly missed. We will cherish those Friday morning calls, birthday songs and wishes, words of encouragement and prayers. You made sure no family member was left out always sending your love and giving candies.
Dedicated, Caring, Kind, Loving Matriarch. I know a void is left in the family. Family take comfort that she lived a life of service to God.
Sweet sleep Mother.
Love, Sis. D. Davis & Family

She will forever be in my heart. I will always cherish the wonderful memories we made. Henceforth there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give her on that day.
I'll meet her again in the morning.

Sincere condolences on the passing of this beautiful soul. Sis. Grant will always be remembered for her love, kindness, prayers and Friday phone calls. its truly wonderful to have known this remarkable woman. She never forget a birthday even the birthday of my son. Having her call and sing Happy Birthday for him warms my heart everytime. He too is truly grateful and will have one less person praying for him.
Forever in our hearts. Sleep on beloved until the great waking up morning when the dead in Christ will rise first.

Ahh Grandma, your presence is still here and your memories will live on. I’m sure everyone can agree that we’ve all shared fond memories with her. Whether it was recent or years ago, she had a special place in all our hearts and you all had one in hers as well! She loved this family and her church family more than anyone can understand. She was truly the embodiment of unconditional love. She always had pictures of everyone for all to see and was proud to talk about us. Her memories will be cherished and her words will always resonate as time passes. Thank God for her existence otherwise none of us would be here honouring her memory.
I just miss her so much!

Our dear Sis. Grant,
You have fought a good fight. You have finished your race, and you had kept the faith. We know there is a crown waiting for you. Your countless deeds of kindness, always giving and never expecting any favors in return.
Every Friday without fail you would call my mom, your pet name for her was Mama G. If she wasn't home you would leave a message and always said to tell my daughter hello ( she was referring to me).
Each Sabbath that I see you and come to give you a quick hug at Church. You would always reach into your bag and put into my hand a few candies the ones in the green and white wrappers they were just as sweet as you.
I remember when mom and I would come to your house to drop something off for you. Yep in your hand was candies. You would always say give some to Mama G, you would stand in the doorway and blow kisses to her.
Your grandson would bring you to church each Sabbath may the Lord richly bless him for his faithfulness to you.
We never got the chance to say goodbye to you, but we always lifted you up in prayer always.
Sleep in Christ Mama Grant until that great getting up morning. So let's continue to be as faithful so we can all get to meet you again in the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when the earth shall be made new. We miss you and love you.
For the rest of the family may the Lord continue to give you strength. Lean on Him as He has promised He will never leave you nor forsake you. Find comfort in each other, in family and friends. Trust Him for His promises are true.
We will continue to lift you all up in prayer.
Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4.
