I met David 30 years ago paving my first tennis court for him and Wally. They were more like brothers then father and son. Making sure everything went smoothly on the job. When David took over the business after Wally's passing, the business never broke its stride. A testament to their relationship.
David was a gentle man, never a bad thing to say about anything. And believe me the construction industry can be a nasty place at times. But David always remained calm, cool and collected...
I will miss that about him, never a negative thing to say. He was always positive and ready to challenge whatever laid ahead.

David, you will be deeply missed by everyone who knows you. I will never forget your smile, generosity and your always joking around even when life was giving you a tough battle. You fought with all of yourself and tried to protect your family until the end and I feel so honored for getting to know you.
Lisa and Nathaniel, my heart goes out to you. I feel so sorry for everything you have been and are going through. I admire your strength and perseverance in carrying on and keeping David's dreams alive. He must be very proud of you two. I am SO fortunate to have known your husband Lisa. David brought so much love and laughter to everyone's life. :) May David's life inspire all of us to do better with our own.
We all wished and prayed that David could stay a little longer with you, but God decided it was time for him to come home and rest.
Though your heart must hold sorrow at the loss of your dear husband, & father may it also hold the blessings of the life you shared and the love that will forever be a part of you.
