Obituary of Ms. Corazon Tampinco

It is with deep sorrow and deeper love that we mourn the passing of Corazon Perlas Tampinco on July 23, 2023 in Scarborough, Ontario at the age of 76 peacefully with family at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cora was born on November 12, 1946 in Manila, Philippines, the fifth of ten children and the eldest girl, to Conrado and Purificacion Tampinco (née Perlas). She is survived by her siblings Carlos (Olive), Edgardo (Mia), Imelda, Edita (Boyet) and Edward, sisters-in-law Connie and Lydia, 22 nieces and nephews, and 15 grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her parents, brothers Roger, Ben, Danny and Freddie, sisters-in-law Merly and Susan and brother-in-law Manfred.

She will be remembered as a sweet, kind, humble person with a generous heart. She gave of what she had and made friends wherever she went. She and her lovely smile will be missed by so many. Our loss is heaven's gain.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 27, 2023 5 - 8pm at Ogden Funeral Homes 4164 Sheppard Ave East, Scarborough, ON M1S 1T3, with a funeral service that evening in the Ogden Funeral Home Chapel at 7pm.

The family wishes to express profound gratitude to the staff at Shepherd Lodge for their kindness and compassionate care as Cora's journey came to an end.
