Tita Cora was a lovely, funny lady. We did not see her very often, but when we did, she would always be warm and gracious to us. She would visit us sometimes in our home in Project 8 when I was a teenager, and for some strange reason, our dinner would be the same - fried fish and sautéed vegetables. I think it was the third time when she noticed that it was the 'official meal' for her visits. We had a good laugh about it. She was a good sport, a listening ear, a generous soul, and overall, a genuine sweetheart.
It has been years since I last saw her, and I was saddened to know of her sickness and passing.
I send warm hugs to Tita Lydia and my cousins Daisy, Diane, and Debra. I thank them for caring for her in her last days.
Rest in peace, Tita Cora.
