My thoughts, prayers and all my love are with my “sister” Natalie and her family as they lay a special woman to rest. Sheila, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me into your family. For letting a scared young woman, away from her home into your family. Because of you and the blessing that is your daughter I was able to spend my first Christmas away from home with a family full of love. Blue Christmas will forever be our song! Your heart spoke volumes. Your strength, kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. Rest easy dear Nanny.

Enjoyed knowing Sheila. We would go to lunch after church and she usually had the same thing. There would be lots of laughter and talk. I envied how she was always put together so beautifully even at the mall when we walked. Rest in peace Sheila.

Sheila was a faithful member of the decorating committee at Central.
She was always willing to come and do whatever she was able to do. Her pleasant demeanour was only matched with her willingness to stay until we were finished.
We will also miss her chats at church and her genuine smile and good nature.
Love and prayers to Natalie and family.
Sincerely,
David and Maureen Dudley

It was always
So wonderful to hear Sheila on line at our church Prayer Time !
Prayer Time is
where we pray for Natalie.
Sheila, very much believed in prayer.
Sheila enjoyed fun and apparently liked my jokes.
That was special to me.

I miss you terribly especially our nightly chats, and those visits watching PBS. You always made a great cup of coffee and cookies to go with it. We had some good laughs. You had a creative eye and a flair for style. Take care Sheila oh and by the way, say hi to Doug -you will be forever in my heart -your good friend Nancie

Our deepest sympathies to Natalie, Lance, Jen and Nick.
Aunt Sheila was a beautiful Lady inside and out.
She was full of life. She liked to laugh and share funny stories and she was a darn good poker player. Back in the 50's she was either Miss Teen Toronto or Miss Toronto. In any case she was a beauty queen. She was devoted to her church - Central United Church in Unionville and over the years made many good friends. Sheila and I shared many happy and sad stories over the phone but we always ended the conversation with "I love you" and "Let me pass you the Peace of Christ" which made us both feel good.
I love you Aunt Sheila and now you are right there enjoying the Peace of Christ in person with Jesus and Uncle Doug and my parents - Bert and Wanda Campbell. I will miss our calls. Hugs your niece Colleen and your nephew Bill Chamberlain.

Auntie Sheila and my Mom worked together at Bell Canada and became life long friends.
I grew up with the honour of having Auntie Shiela in my life, along with Uncle Doug. I have such fond memories of playing with Natalie when we were kids.
I remember her taking care of me when my grandfather passed away and her staying with us when she was recovering from surgery and helping my Mom look after me because I also got food poisoning at the same time.
Even after my Mom passed away we kept in contact. Auntie Sheila was a wonderful, kind person who absolutely adored her family.
RIP Auntie Shiela. I will dearly miss you!

I will never forget how kind Sheila was to me after my mother passed away. I always looked forward to her calls knowing that her empathy and kind words would comfort me. Over time, our conversations evolved and I learned of her daughter, Natalie. Sheila seemed to be in awe of her. In every conversation, Sheila would brag about how confident, competent, adventurous, and strong Natalie was. And now, after having spoken with Natalie, I agree.
Sheila is at peace now and this is a blessing. May Natalie accept this and receive the love and strength that all of us are sending her way.
