Laura, Annettte, and the Pollock family, my sincere condolences to you on the loss of of your dad. Though I only met him occasionally and it was quite a while ago, I remember him as a good natured friendly guy who was always quick to laugh. And your mom was the same, both of them wonderful people who were a joy to be around. May you find peace and solace in the support of family and friends as you share memories of happy times with your dad.

Mr. and Mrs. P were my "bonus" grandparents. Bonus families have all the love- without any expectations or responsibilities LOL. Pomeroy Street was my second home growing up, and the relationships my Nana formed there shaped who I am today. Mr. and Mrs. P were always there for me. They celebrated my milestones and accomplishments. Mr. P prepared food for bridal shower and Mrs. P knitted shawls for my children. Mr. P documented our times in photos and Mrs. P taught me how to make her empire biscuits. Mr. P shared frozen treats and laughs with me as a child and Mrs. P and I shared glasses of wine and chats as women. I loved them- and I told them so. I'm so grateful for these two very special people. Until we meet again xoxoxo.

Our deepest sympathy to the Pollock family. Paul and I were neighbors on Pomeroy Street in the late 80's-early 90's, and we have many fond memories of Bob and Jean. One that especially comes to mind is the tomatoes that Bob grew and shared with us all; they truly were the best we had ever tasted! I enjoyed many cups of tea and Jean's homemade soup; always delicious, lovingly made, and served at their dining room table. Both she and Bob had a wonderful way of making people feel welcome. I will always be grateful for the friendship and kindness they also extended to my late mother, Doris Wilvert. Rest in Peace, Bob and Jean. Paul & Andrea Enright.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Bob. Since my childhood days, he brought laughter and joy into my life with his warm-hearted nature, always sharing a kind word or funny story. He will long be cherished in my heart and greatly missed.
