Obituary of Mr. Donald May

Donald May – passed away peacefully away on Friday January 27, 2023 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital.

Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia, the love of his life and they are now together.  Proud Father to Richard (Karen), Michael (Jean), Donna and Joanne (Ken). Grandfather to Mark, Sarah, David, Kevin, Sherri-Ann, Jodi, Jason, Matt and Tim. Great-grandfather of twelve.

Don grew up in the beaches, one of 13 siblings survived by his siblings Yvonne, Vivian and Richard. Donald will always be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Don also shared many years with his long time friend Nancy Smith.

He will be fondly remembered for his passion and contribution to his beloved sport of Sprint Canoe Racing. His accomplishments include 11 national championship medals, founding of the Ak-O-Mak Canoe Club and Co founder of West Rouge Canoe Club, involvement in the sport at community, provincial and national levels, supporting many young athletes.

Don May was loved and will be missed!
