Daddio gave me more than a memory or moment. He gave me faith that the possibility of a loving and kind father could exist. Without knowing, he allowed a new sense of ease in me. I remember meeting him for the first time in the kitchen. It was such a simple and mundane moment but it remains with me, even after almost 40 years.
Joanne, Ken and the rest of his family were so lucky!
