Obituary of Mr. Jahmar Thompson

Jahmar O’Brian Thompson, of Toronto, Ontario, died unexpectedly on January 23, 2023 at the age of 35. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Jahmar was born on November 18, 1987, and lived in Scarborough for most of his life.

Jahmar was a quiet soul who enjoyed everything from chess and video games to fine arts and camping. Jahmar had a big heart and he gave of his talents volunteering his time at the East Scarborough Store Front and East Scarborough Boys and Girls Club, ministering at his church and then taking that love of people professionally to working in security for seven years, starting in 2016.

If you knew Jahmar, you knew his beautiful smile, his heartwarming laugh and his calm demeanor. These will be missed most of all

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Angeline Thompson, sisters, step-father, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends, church family, co-workers and many other loved ones that are too many to mention.

Viewing for Jahmar O’Brian Thompson will be held at Ogden Funeral Home 4164 Shepherd Ave. East (Midland and Sheppard) on Friday February 10, 2023 at 5pm - 8pm, additional viewing will be Saturday, February 11 2023 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Faith Outreach Worship Center  with Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 a.m.
