Obituary of Mr. Thomas Victor Cook

Thomas (Tom) Victor Cook

December 10, 1954 – August 9, 2022

Tom peacefully passed at Scarborough General following a year of declining health.   Tom is survived by his beloved parents, Frank and Mary Cook, brother Steven (Debbie) and sister Kelly.  Tom will be missed by loved uncles, John Martin (Shirley), Peter Martin (Wendy) and Bill Martin (Tracy), his nieces and nephews and Martin, Cook and McKean cousins.    Life was not always kind to Tom, starting with meningitis as an infant, that left him with a lifetime of challenges.  Through tireless love, dedication and support from his parents, Tom worked for the family construction business and was admired by many clients for keeping the job site clean!   Trips to Barbados, time at cottages, feeding the backyard rabbits & birds and a kitchen companion for his Mom were some of the simple things in life that Tom loved.  He will be forever remembered by family, friends and neighbors who took the time to engage in conversation and appreciate Tom’s kind heart and soul.   May you rest easy Tom, live on eternally free of barriers and be welcomed in the arms of Grammo Martin who loved you immeasurably.   Donations in Tom’s memory may be made to Scarborough General Hospital, where he received compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 3pm at Ogden Funeral Home
