Roger and I wish to send our sincere condolences to Mary, Frank, Steven, Kelly and all of the extended family on the passing of
Tom . He was a very kind and gentle man who loved nature. He enjoyed watching and feeding the birds at their many backyard feeders. He also enjoyed and took pride in his family's flower and vegetable gardens. He learned valuable skills in carpentry from Frank and loved to help his Mom in the kitchen, especially at bazaar time. He showed great interest in the church and the gardens there as well. This all was instilled by his loving and devoted family.and loyal church friends.
Tom would always greet you with a smile and try to give you some good news. It was a red letter day when he received a letter from his cousin Glenn, in Norway and if something nice happened to him, he would make a point of including that in his Christmas letter to Glenn.
Tom took great pleasure in the little things in life. When he had fewer health issues, he showed huge appreciation for a cup of coffee and a homemade apple pie or some butter tarts. Tom had his limitations due to health issues, but he never settled for second best or a job poorly done.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family and many friends
. Rest in peace, sweet Tom.
