Obituary of Mr. Bobby Oliram Ramjist

Bobby Oliram Ramjist passed away peacefully on Monday August 15, 2022 in the loving company of his family at home. He was born on September 20, 1935 in Georgetown, Guyana, the eighth of nine children. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years Biddiawatie, and loving sons Stephen (Keeran), Roland (Dannyelle), and Bobby (Heather). He will be forever missed by his cherished grandchildren Joshua (Lauren), Joel, Michael, Paige, Taryn, and Madeline, and great-grandchildren Avery and Luke.

He is predeceased by his parents Ramjas and Dorsey and siblings Harry (Jess), Ignatius (Dorothy), Richard (Molly), Lil (survived by Sweetie), Tunka (Paul), Tetri (Samuel), and Bassie (Vernon). He is survived by his sister Joyce (Yusuf). He loved them all dearly, and often reminisced about his boyhood days in Guyana and carefree times with friends in La Penitence.

Bobby was deeply dedicated to his Church and tireless service to the Evangelical Community. He will be fondly remembered for his commitment to his time at In Touch Ministries sharing the Word. Visitation with the family at Ogden Funeral Home on Thursday August 18, 2022 from 5 to 8 pm and commemoration service on Friday August 19, 2022 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you take the time to tell those close to you how much you love them. Our husband / Dad / Grappy always made us feel special when we were with him, and would be sure to tell us how much he loved us. We would appreciate if you could pay this forward and continue to spread the love.
