Robbie & I first met Bob & Biddi when we were posted to The Canadian Forces Command & Staff College in Toronto for a year with our three young sons Ben, Jamie & Tom. Robbie had just returned from a 6 month tour of The Falkland Islands where he had gone to a Bible study with Mission to Military Garrisons to find out what the claims of God & Jesus were. He soon realised that he was a sinner & that Jesus had paid the price of all sin for all people when he died on the cross at Calvary.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.
Robbie got down on his knees, repented, & asked Jesus into his life. On his return to the U.K. he led me & our 7 year old son who was listening to our conversations to our Lord.
Consequently we were recently converted Christians when we arrived to set up home in Don Mills not far from Bob & Biddi. The first thing that we did was to look for a nearby church where we could see people going in with Bibles & that’s where we met Bob & Biddi 33 years ago! They invited us to a Bible study & prayer meeting at their home. We were strangers in a foreign land just for a short time, but Bob’s warm smile & Biddi’s hugs welcomed us. We learnt so much about the Christian life from this lovely couple.
What a witness they were to our unbelieving friends at Staff College who came a year later to a farewell party at our home as they saw us unashamedly fighting the tears saying goodbye for what we thought was the last time that we would see each other. They couldn’t believe how we had obviously made such life long friends in just a year. We explained to them that it was because we were all Christians & we had an unbreakable bond in Christ. We thought that we wouldn’t see each other again but knew that we would meet one day in Heaven.
Then years later Bob & Biddi made a trip to U.K. & visited us at Oakdale. It was a great unexpected reunion! God is good.
Now Bob is with Robbie again in Heaven with their Lord & Saviour.
2 Timothy 7 & 8 says: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. Bob & Robbie have their crowns of righteousness.
John10:28 says: Jesus answered, I give them eternal life, and they shall NEVER perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
I know the pain of losing a beloved husband so recently & the journey of grief & healing Biddi which we are both now on but we have the knowledge that one day we will all be reunited & have eternal life. Our Lord will take us home too but until then He has left us here as He still has work for us to do so I leave you with a verse that has been a great encouragement, strength & comfort to our family when the boys & I were separated from a husband & father or Robbie & I from our boys going away to boarding school due to our 37 years in the military.
Joshua 1 verse 9 :
“ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. “
My love & prayers are with you. Helen

I knew Bob and Bibbi from their many trips to Odosagih Bible Conference grounds. We had many good conversations when they came. They were a couple dedicated to helping wherever needed. Bibbi, you were a champion at providing care for your husband. You will find this transition hard . I pray extra grace for you and your family at this time.

Knowing Brother Bob and Sister Biddy has been a tremendous blessing to us. They reflected the Light of the world - their and our Lord Jesus the Christ - in every sphere of their life together. It was a joy singing some Hindi Christian songs together whenever we met. Over these last few years, our dear Sister Biddy ministered not only to Bob tirelessly, but also to all who witnessed what true Christian marital commitment is. The Lord's promise of strength and continued joy unspeakable is with Biddy as Bob awaits all his loved ones in the Lord's immediate presence. How precious this thought for Jesus' followers:
Just think of stepping on shore, and finding it heaven
Of touching a hand, and finding it God's
Of breathing new air, and finding it celestial
Of waking up in Glory, and finding it "Home"

Bobby Ramjist, a wonderful man of God blessed our lives and those of our children. He and his precious wife, Biddi, continued to support our ministry and family in prayer and many other ways long after we left the area in which we first met them and their beautiful family, even up to this present time we have been in touch with them and felt their love and known of their prayers. Along with our children, Heather (James, Lj and Khobi), and Chris (Brooke), Winston and I send our love to Biddi and their whole family with prayers that God will be their strength and comfort in these days when they will feel acutely the loss from this world of husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Because we know Bobby walked with God and knew Jesus Christ, His Son, as his own personal Savior, he went from this world into his eternal destination, into the very presence of God to rejoice around His Throne forever...where we will join him one day in God's own timing!!
Forever in His love we send our love to you Biddi, Steve, Roland, Bobby, your spouses, children and grandchildren.

Fred ,Dad and I want to express our deepest condolences to you and the family. May fond memories of Uncle bring you comfort during this difficult time.
I have not just lost an uncle but also my Godfather. Memories of him will always be there to fill the emptiness he left in my heart.
