Where do I even begin with Mr. Sweetapple. Growing up with Lori, Mr. Sweetapple was like our Uber before you even Uber was born. It doesn’t matter what time of the day … or night, Mr. Sweetapple will sneak out to pick Lori and I and our friends up and make sure we got home safely. My favourite memory of Mr. Sweetapple is when he tries to tell us his famous dad a jokes and then Mr. Sweetapple would be like “SID! I need you right now!!” Mr. Sweetapple would give us his cute adorable smile and bite his tongue and go “oh oh,I better get this one”. He was an amazing husband to Mrs Sweetapple, an amazing grandfather to Seamus and Patrick and most of all the most amazing kindest father to Lori! I love Mr. Sweetapple! I remember him being so happy for me when I told him I finally got my teaching job. Just like the amazing dad that he was, he sit me down and ask me about what the job entails and truly listen to what I have to say. He would ask me about child development advices when I pump into him at Mc Donald’s when he is picking up fries for the boys. I was never able to call him Sid regardless of many times he told me I can use his first name lol. For me, he’s always Mr. Sweetapple and I’m sure one day when he and I meet in heaven, I will still be calling him Mr. Sweetapple. Mr. Sweetapple you have always been a bright light and I can’t wait to look up in the sky at night and see you shine, shining down upon on all of us. Put in a good word to God for Greg and I.
