Sandra, Ann-Marie, Dawn, spouses and other family members, please accept sincere condolences from the Benoit family.
As you know, for the last 30 years we have affectionately referred to Daniel as Mr. D. The kids on the street in the good old days started it and it stuck. Mr. D. was as good neighbour, he was the first to reach out to us when we moved here and we so enjoyed his sense of humour and his interaction with the kids as he faithfully kept an eye on them during the summer while tending his beautiful weed-free lawn. We have loved and respected him and our prayers are with you.
Like the writer of 2 Timothy 4:7, Daniel Vernon has fought the good fight, he has finished the race, he has kept the faith.
May his soul rest in peace until we meet again.
