After a courageous 8 month battle with cancer, Thomas “Tommy” Tsirakis passed away peacefully at Hennick Bridgeport Hospital in Toronto  on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the age of 54.

 

Tommy loved to travel and take long walks. He was deeply involved with medical research at the St. Michael's Hospital under Dr. David Jenkins. Tommy graduated from the Cardiff University MSc Psychiatry programme last year and was the joint recipient of the MSc Psychiatry Excellence Award. 

 

He was born in Wallaceburg, Ontario on July 7, 1967, and was the son of the late Jack and Kiki Tsirakis. Loving brother to Angelo and his wife Connie Tsirakis. 

 

He will be sadly missed by his nephew, Michael Tsirakis and niece, Christina Paquette & her husband Pete. And will be greatly missed by his best friend Ben Hostmark, as well as many other friends and colleagues.
