Dearest Connie, Angelo and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear brother and uncle. Too short a life and so much pain and suffering. I truly understand your loss. Miss your friendship and presence in Las Vegas. I pray the rest of 2022 is smooth sailing for all of you. Much love, Linda Lubbers

Shocked and saddened to hear of this. Tom and I were best friends at Tecumseh High School in Chatham. We stayed in touch for a few years afterwards; he moved to Brampton and I moved to K-W and we eventually drifted apart as old friends so often do. Seeing this recent photo he hadn't changed at all in 30+ years. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Tom and his family where like my own family. They taught me to be a kind human. Tom was the kindest man I ever met. We became friends in 1982. He was my best friend. He was my Greek brother. I was always so proud of him, Angelo and the family. I am so lucky to have had so much time with Tom and his family. He was especially proud of his nieces and nephews. I remember him playing with is niece at the restaurant. It was always his happiest time playing with the kids. Tom was the best human I ever met. Tom, Angelo, Jack, Kiki and Yia-yia turned my life around by allowing me to live and learn the restaurant and renovation business. Tom taught me how to drive. Angelo teased the hell out of me. Connie was straight laced and strict Jack was scary and lovable and Kiki and Yia-Yia where stereotypical mothers from the 60's that we all wish we had. No wonder this family turned out so well. The love an passion I witnessed was beautiful. Even the funny arguments between Angelo and his amazing Dad was awesome to witness. After an argument was over you would never even know they had a fight. It was beautiful. I was lucky to witness this family in action. A truly tight nit family that allowed strangers into their home without judgement. Yia-Yia would bring me 4 scoops of ice-cream every time I came over on Lark Street. She made me my first fish with the head still attached. I was mortified but ate it because I loved her. Tom knew I was a poor kid. He didn't care. He and his family took me in like their own. I can still swear in Greek. Thank you Tom. You made me who I am today. I love you brother.

Thomas was an amazing friend. We had such great times together. Whether it was walking around Toronto, hanging around his parents restaurant in the evening hours, going to Florida and Virginia, camping, and the list goes on. You will truly be missed.
My sincere condolences to Angelo and family.

Thanasis my best friend and brother. I can not believe you left without saying good bye. You inspired me to become the crazy SOB I am today! I love you so much. I wish I could thank you for everything you did for me. As we always discussed you would be the doctor and I would own a restaurant. Well my friend, I owned a restaurant and hated every second of it. But I did become a Doctor thanks to you. You made me a humanitarian. I wish I could tell you what I have done and where I have been. I am so grateful you have been following me all these years. I love you brother. I don't want to say good bye. You are such a special man. You changed my life when we met in 1982 over a 110 baud modems on my vic 20 computer. We would talk for hours and you put up with my slow typing and horrible spelling. I love you Tom. All your friends and family should know you where my mentor and best friend when I needed a brother the most. You taught me how to drive and always told me I could do anything. I am so sorry I could not be on your last journey with you. I will not say good bye. I will say see you in paradise should I be accepted.
