I wanted to add my condolences to all the family on the sad passing of my cousin Trixie who I last saw when I left Guyana for England in 1965. Although it was many years ago and I was just 10 years old I remember her well as a fun loving person and a much valued member of the family. Whenever I went to play with Pinky or visited with my grandmother, Mrs Billey, she was always friendly. God bless all the immediate family who I know would feel her absence greatly. Thinking of you all. Dawne and husband Aubrey xx

On Behalf of the Drakes Family: Farewell To Lynette (Trixie) Azeez,
For in excess of fifty years (5 decades), Trixie was highly regarded by the Drakes family as an in-law and friend. To us she was genuine, kind, trustworthy, accommodating, decidedly hilarious and much more. Her welcoming and self-assured posture made us all feel at home when we visited. Besides, she was known to create tasty meals followed by optional drink(s).
All those years, going back to when she lived in Mahaica, Essequibo Coast then Canada! Our friendship never faltered, and I doubt whether any one of us would single handedly want to take credit for that special relationship. It was an amalgam of several influences that gave birth to mutual respect and lasting friendship.
In embracing her spirit and honoring her memory, we offer a quote from 'Awakening Osiris' (The Egyptian Book Of The Dead):
To see the goodness of things, we must see the god in things. To see the god in things, we must see goodness. To find god in sorrow, fear and death is to see its usefulness. To know is to understand. To praise the gods, we must praise life. To honor gods we must make of the world something good. To be gods, we must hold goodness in each pore. We are filled with light, wholly divine. The sun rises, an eye of fire, and through its light we come to see the world as gods would have it.

My deepest condolences to Karen, Michelle, Denise, all of her grandchildren and family. There was no bigger heart or genuine soul than Miss Trixie. She would feed your heart, mind, soul and stomach at the same time.
Every person who had the honour of being in her presence knows how truly amazing and special she was. I knew her since I was a 14 year old lost girl and knowing her and her amazing daughters changed my life forever. I’ll never forget the encouraging words she would give me during my darkest times. Not a day has gone by that I don’t thank God for her and Karen because they truly saw the best in me and believed in me when no one did; they really saved my life. And that was the kind of woman she was and the women she raised.
There is no woman like Miss Trixie; a phenomenal woman, mother, grandmother and role model. May you Rest in Eternal Peace~ you will always be in our hearts. Love always Nikkii

Shiels Family
We have been neighbor with Lynette for over 36 years. Denise and Karen babysat our Girls.
Whenever we saw Lynette she always ask how we were and how were things, a few time we had a few cold one on our lawn.
This is so surreal as I spoke with her about 2 weeks ago, I ask her if I could park my van in her driveway and ask her how she was doing and if she was bored because of the pandemic (not surprise with her answer), no at all I eat, drink and I am merry LOL.
Even though we did not often see her, Town Haven will not be the same without her.
Her family and friends were her life, what a beautiful and funny Sole she was.
Sincere condolences to Michele Karen Denise, the grandkids and her siblings.
RIP Lynette, we love you and we will miss you.

People come into our lives for a time and a season, some are angels sent by God to encourage, guide and support us. Trixie was one of Gods angels without a doubt. We tend to put off making time for people, too busy with life as we like to say. I wish I had made the time to see her one more time. My deepest sympathies to the family, she is no longer here with you, but she is looking down at you, smiling, guiding and cheering you on. A mother’s and grandmothers love is one of the things that you will always cherish and never forget.
Rest in peace with your saviour my darling, you deserve this rest.
