To the Jairam and Kanhai families,
We are saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Ryan 5yrs after his beloved dad Teeka passing, which I was a pallbearer.
I remember Ryan stepping up to push the button at his dad cremation 5yrs ago after his daughter Samantha was overcome with grief. How profoundly sad remembering this and Reflecting Ryan is also gone now and way too soon.
Our heartfelt condolences goes out to the families with your sad loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult and grieving time.
From all accounts Ryan was a great person and a wonderful father who will be missed but not forgotten.
Wishing the families fortitude and love to carry on especially Mikayla and Waveney in their lives.

My condolences to the entire family. It's been more than 20 years since I last saw you Ryan. Nothing but fond memories from the Lester B Pearson Days. My last memory is when you first got the job at TTC. I asked you what do you do if people don't pay or skip on the bus, all I remember you saying was skunt, I mind my own business look straight drive the bus and when my time is done I'm gone. I couldn't stop laughing. I wish we could catch up some day but that will not happen anymore. His laughter and smile and most importantly his sense of humor will be dearly missed.

I met Ryan in 2018 through one of my close friends Chris(aka Wingman). Chris was going to be late so he had me and Ryan meet up early. We professionally introduced ourselves but in the back of both our minds what we wanted to say is (who de rass is this chap). In a matter of minutes, I made a joke to which he responded with another one, life became perfect as I thought I was the only clown in the group. As time passed we went from being acquaintances to brothers and as you all know once Ryan gets comfortable anything goes. We had a lot of respect for each other and because of this Ryan threw all the rules out and made me aware “Alvin you’re an idiot” lol!., I couldn’t have been happier hugging him and letting him know that’s what I thought of him all along. Events, gatherings and Markham Station 3 am breakfast visits were never a dull moment with the group. The people who sat around us wondered if we escaped the psychiatric ward from all the laughter and entertainment at our table. Spending almost every weekend with Ryan when covid restrictions were lifted will remain the best moments that I will cherish forever. I wish this was all a nightmare and that you would hop out of the casket hand us the plane tickets and discuss how we were going to invest the insurance money while sitting on the beach lol!!!!, but I know that won’t happen. My heart is broken into pieces (Aunty)Waveney It would have been an honour to meet you but we all have to accept whatever rules are in place to keep us all safe during these times. Please accept my unyielding condolences to you and the family. Lastly Mikaylah.. your dad didn't ask much from anyone but the one thing he would have wanted us to do was look over the most important person in his life you! and this is something I promise. Today we are here tomorrow isn't guaranteed we must remain humble and never take anything for granted, life is short.
