Obituary of Mr. Moxey Dixon

Moxey Fitzroy Dixon was born on January 26th, 1948 in Montego Bay, Jamaica to Melvin and Violet Dixon. He was the 2nd of 3 children, with an older sister Merle and a younger sister, Opal.  Moxey graduated from Cornwall College and worked for the Jamaica Public Service (JPS).

He arrived in Canada in the late 1960’s and settled in Toronto, Ontario. He completed the Business Equipment Servicing Program at George Brown College in December 1974. While living in Toronto, Moxey worked for Phillips, IBM and Markville Toyota. 

He married his wife Rena on June 16th, 1973. Together they had 3 daughters, Natasha, Tanya (Lemmanuel Sr.) and Kimberly. He was also blessed with 3 grandsons, Lemmanuel Jr., Amari and Josiah, whom he loved dearly. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews and a faithful friend to many. 

Sadly, Moxey passed away on the evening of Monday November 29th, 2021 at the age of 73. He will be dearly missed by all.
