You are surely missed Uncle Moxey.
I was not physically at your home going service but I was there in spirit.
My fondest memory of you is, as a teenager and visiting Canada for the first time. My sister and I stayed with you Aunt Rena and my cousins. You bought me a record, “Ring my Bell, by Anita Ward.“
We both loved music and we would often dance to this song in the basement. You were always so much fun. Every time I hear that song it makes me smile and I remember you. Love and miss you.
Stay in peace.

Moxie and I entered Cornwall College in January 1959. We were in form 2B. He was always alert and engaged. He participated well in sports - particularly football. Moxie was likable and liked. We lost contact with each other but through a network of old classmates (Taffy Mullings, Larry Groves and Johnny Gourzong, I occasionally got feedback that he was doing well in Canada.
Sincere condolences to his wife and children.

Mr. Moxey Dixon (known lovingly as just “MAXIE” to many of his friends) was a man of ambition, of peace, justice and love. May he rest in perfect-perfect peace and may his memory be a blessing to everybody who once knew this talented “brother-man” from the time of his high school “football” days at Cornwall College up to the time of his life in Canada. He will be dearly missed by many.

Although I have not had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Dixon, I have the pleasure of working with his daughter Tanya.
Based on on all the amazing attributes his daughter possesses, it is evident of how he must of been a hero in the heart of many.
He will always be with your all in spirit and just looking over everyone from a much better place.
Our sincere condolences for your loss from our family to yours.
Sia Wilson and family.
