I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Unette Harrison. What I remember most about her was her smile and warm demeanour. I extend my condolences to her family, in particular her sister Dr. Jean Augustine who I have the pleasure of working alongside with at JAC. Unette must be up there making crab and callaloo, sweet bread, black cake, knitting beautiful table cloths and bedspreads, all while telling the stories of her many trips and cruises, her love for fishing, the big ones she caught, her wins and loss at the casino, and her pride in her Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
We will miss her at family gatherings as much rotated around her. She was the ideal sister as she was always reasonable and even tempered acknowledging me as the older/bigger sister so we had no fights.
As I watched her body giving up I know that she went peacefully to that better place. May she rest in peace.
Our thanks to all friends and colleagues who embrace us at this time of loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Unette's passing. A beautiful lady and dear friend with a contagious laugh that I won't ever forget. We had many family get togethers with lots of food, music and laughter. Those are the memories I will keep forever. My deepest sympathy to the entire family and to let you know that Elan and I share in your sadness as you remember Unette. I am sending healing prayers and comforting hugs and ask that God surround you with his comforting love.
