Mr. Anastasios Michalopoulos

Obituary of Mr. Anastasios Michalopoulos

Please share a memory of Mr. Anastasios to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Although you have left us, you had fought for so very long and hard to stay and spend the extra time, it came with pain and we selfishly thank you for that.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Tina, his children Maria, Stathi, Mario and Lena and his beloved grand children Ethan, Tasos, Paulina, Taso and Theo.  He was a devoted pappou and loved them all very much.

It is impossible to encapsulate everything Tom has done, as he was a true trail blazer.  His entrepreneurial spirit, philanthropy and his hunger to help individuals made him special.  He did not think that he was in any way more special, but the selflessness and time that he would give someone made him more worthwhile than he knew.  No idea was too big for him, as a creator he believed that normally solutions will come and will be found.  He was a back of a napkin kind of guy 40 years ago and remained one until his very last days.  He did not stop, as that was life for him.

Although you have left us too soon, we know you look down on us with your infectious smile that would always light up a room.   Instead, your memory is now our guiding light that will help us get through the days, months and years to come.

You have left us with so much to remember you by and we love you!

Private Family Service

“The funeral service for Tom is being held on Saturday April 24, 2021 at St Johns Greek Orthodox Church located at 1385 Warden Ave starting at 11:30am. Unfortunately, the service will be closed for attendance to anyone other than immediate family due to the current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions but we will provide a virtual live stream available for those who would like to send a farewell to Tom during the service.”
