Obituary of Mrs. Dorothy 'Marlene' Poots

With profound sadness, Marlene’s family announces her passing on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

Mum was a proud daughter, sister, niece, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. She missed her late husband, Jack.

She instilled strong values in our family, which continue to guide us forward to "do the right thing" . She strongly encouraged pursuit of higher education. To this end, all of her children and grandchildren hold multiple university degrees.

Many thanks to the doctors and nurses who supported our family, as our mum needed to overcome many health challenges in her retirement years.

She was deeply loved and will be truly missed.

Private Family Service arrangements are entrusted with Ogden funeral home.
