Obituary of Mrs. Margaret Walter
Please share a memory of Mrs. Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Margaret passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 26, 2020 at age 94. Beloved wife of the late John Walter. Loving mother to Anne (Rob) Wylie and Sue (Dave) McCarthy. Proud grandmother to Cheryl (Kevin), Michael (Kirstin), Andrew (Heather), Steve (Lizzy), Jeff, Alison (Tara) and Paul. Great-grandmother to Clara and Amelia.
Marg was the second youngest of a large close-knit family and is predeceased by her siblings. Many loving nieces and nephews will miss their dear Aunty Marg.
Marg brought a smile to everyone she met and was always there to lend a helping hand. She had a great sense of humour and a clever wit. Marg will be fondly remembered as the hostess of the annual Miceli family picnic for many years. She was fun-loving, caring, kind-hearted and in general, a wonderful human being, who will be greatly missed.
Marg was always doing little things to help the people around her. In her memory, it would be wonderful if you could do a random act of kindness.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Catholic Missions In Canada, a cause that was dear to her heart.
