Grandma had a kind heart, and appreciated the simplest of things. She was easy to talk to, always interested in what was going on in your life, and quick to laugh.
I consider myself lucky to be one of her grandchildren, the memories of her will be treasured.

Sue and I have been friends for many years. I still remember on my first visit to Sue's home as a shy child and how welcoming Margaret was. I remember her laughter, her dry wit and most of all her kindness and oh of course her lasagna...LOL which was different from the one my mom makes but it was a joy to eat. (I managed to get the recipe from them). One of my fondest memories is the tea Sue and I had with Margaret when she still had her apartment and how together we would tease Sue as we looked at the scrap books Sue had made.
She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.
Condolences to Sue, Anne and the extended family.

Aunt, Godmother, Friend. Aunty Marg was a wonderful person: generous, kind and funny. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. I have a lifetime of memories, but I will never forget that she called every few days just to check in after Dad died. And I knew I could always call her. Lots of long talks and visits. I do hope she is enjoying a glass of red and some spicy provolone with all of her brothers and sisters.

I always appreciated the kindness that you showed to me and everyone you met. Your generosity and genuine regard for people were always so heartwarming to see. Whether it was allowing me to have an extra piece of candy, or sending me home with an extra serving of food, you never left me wanting. I always looked forward to visiting you, even when I was living out of town and only back for a weekend. You always had a wonderful sense of humor, and could always put a smile on my face. You took delight in sharing stories and recipes, and seemed to take a genuine interest in what I was doing. I will always be proud to be your grandson, and I am glad to have known you as the wonderful person you are.
I'll miss you, Grandma.

Grandma Walter was a beacon of light to be around. She was so loving and caring to us growing up and I could always count on her for a big hug. She would let us measure how fast we were growing against her (“I reach Grandmas nose!”), would sneak us lifesavers when Mom wasn’t looking, and would tell us stories from when she was younger. As I grew into adulthood I began to appreciate the wonderful and strong woman she was. Her humour and spunky personality always made me laugh! I am grateful to have had such a wonderful grandmother, she will be missed but never forgotten.

When I was young, I always remember visiting Grandma for her cooking. She had a love of life and family, and I always felt she shared it through the meals she cooked us. She was always happy and excited to have all of us around her. I also remember her in more recent years, where seeing her large and loving family was still something so important and full of happiness that it brought a sparkle to her eye - just like she always brought a smile to our faces with her kindness and positive spirit.
Our prayers go out to you Grandma, and to Mom and Anne as well.

Sending hugs to all of Grandma's family. I remember at her 90th birthday she didn't seem a day over 80! She was full of smiles and was such a kind person to be around. Alison shared a memory with me of when she was being babysat by grandma once, and about all the fun she had. <3 She will be missed greatly.

I remember summers at the cottage with Grandma, telling stories about her growing up, and the first time she learned about dried pasta and wondering why anyone makes the fresh stuff anymore. She was always happy and making jokes and a pleasure to be around. Some lessons she taught me include everything in moderation including moderation. You will be missed. Love, Alison

I always remember waiting for Aunt Marg and Uncle Johnny to visit in Chepstow when we first met this wonderful lady from TO. Aunt Marg was the first to ever introduce us to homemade pizza which we enjoyed greatly as we had never heard of pizza before that visit many years ago. That was the first of so many treasured, marvelous and unforgettable memories of a truly precious lady that we were blessed to have as an Aunt. Prayers and thought are extended to Anne, Sue and families at this loss. Love Joe and Irene and family

Aunt Marg (great aunt) will be dearly missed. She was a lovely person. When I first started working in the GTA, I stayed with her for a week while I was working on an audit in Scarborough and she was very welcoming to me. We also had a great time with her, Anne, Sue and my other aunts going to The Mandarin - lots of memories. Sending our prayers to Anne, Sue and families.

Aunt Marg was always quick with a smile or a joke about being short. Haha. I remember trips to visit in Scarborough and her taking the country bumpkins for rides on the subway. Always so welcoming and loving. Family was always so important and after Uncle Johnny passed away, she continued to attend all the Walter family functions. She was my last aunt and though we didn't see her often, she will be missed and always lived. Sincerest condolences to Anne, Sue and families as well as the Miceli family. Love from Betty & Dan and family
