My condolences to the family especially to Kamal and Gavin. I had the great pleasure in being a student tenant in Monica’s home and one of my finest memories was her cooking curry chicken and rice and her big smile. I had the pleasure later in life to visit Monica and her son Gavin and I am glad I did. You will always be remembered Monica for your love and care and also string family values and you taking me in and treating me like one of your sons. I hope now you are at peace and hopefully with Annie your beloved pet has greeted you in heaven. You will be dearly missed and much loved on this Earth. Your memory is eternal now and always. Words cannot describe how saddened I am to hear of your passing because you in your own way helped contribute in the man I am today and for this I am eternally grateful. Thank you Monica for the love care and wonderful memories.

Monica was a strong and caring person. She was so dedicated to her clients and advocated for those who were most in need. Monica had contacts all over Toronto and she had a way of talking people into helping others. Monica, I will miss seeing you and hearing your laugh around the office. You are dearly missed. Deirdre

I met Monica 1963 Jan at Bridge of Earn Hosp. Perthshire, Scotland. She warmly welcomed me. We shared many special occasions. One of such was visiting an International Mission in Crieff for a week. The directors were Mr & Mrs Thompson. Mrs Thompson was the daughter of Rev. Rothrie of the Presbyterian Diocese in Hanover,Jamaica. We had a rude awakening when we were woken @ 6.00am every morning for prayers. I will treasure my memories of Monica. Expressing my love and sympathy to the family.
