It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Betty Ann Sorensen, on July 24th, in her 63rd year. She passed away at home due to medical complications after being in recovery from bladder cancer. Betty is predeceased by her parents, Birthe and Erik. Betty was known for her razor sharp wit and her love of all things Danish and Swedish. She will be sadly missed by the Pritchard family (and extended family), Keith Burmingham, the Stanford Downey Crew, and her Danish and Swedish family, and friends here and abroad. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Sunnybrook hospital where she received excellent care. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
