My deepest sympathy to Kris and Sean and all those who knew and loved Nancy. She was an amazing friend of over 50 years. Even though Nancy and Bob moved to Canada and we moved to Australia, our friendship remained strong, with visits that leave us with wonderful memories. Nancy was great fun, a fantastic cook and a shining intelligence; she could do virtually anything. After Bob’s passing when too young, Nancy was a mother par excellence. She was kindness personified; after my husband died, Nancy sent me a “healing shawl” that she had made herself. She visited me in Australia. I’m profoundly grieved that Nancy is gone but am so grateful for our friendship of long standing and the continuing friendship with her beloved daughter Kris and Sean.
