We are very sad to hear of the passing of Marieliese.
Marieliese always made us feel welcome when we visited your home on our trips to Canada. Marieliese was warm and friendly and and always had a happy outlook. She always shared her stories about her pet doggies and paintings with us.
We will always remember her and miss her.

May God send his spirit of Peace to calm your grieving souls and fill you with his light, to allow you to understand he has called Marieliese to live eternally in his glorious presence.
Her face always lit up with a smile when she saw me or Andy and she always stopped to say hello and talk. When I would meet her on the bus, and I would be at the back and she would be in front, she would shout hello, and give me this huge smile. I was so glad she was my neighbour and I got to know her. Her life was too short..f May her soul rest in Peace.

Marieliese was always special to me. I remember meeting adorable toddler Marieliese for the first time when she came to visit my mother who is her father's godmother. I will always remember her soft-spoken voice and charming personality. I have many memories of Marieliese drawing beautiful pictures for me whenever I visited with her parents.
I take comfort in knowing that she is now with her fond grandmothers, watching over all of us from above.
Rest in peace dear Marieliese, safe in the arms of Jesus, until we meet again, "far beyond the stars."

Marieliese was such a beautiful soul and will be forever missed. I still remember all of us playing tother when we were young (the 3 Joachimpillai sisters and the 3 Tisseverasinghe sisters), going to aunty's house for delicious food and simply being kids. As we got older we reunited at family parties and would catch up on life and simply enjoy each other's company. I can still hear Marieliese's voice and her laughter, when I think of her. Marieliese has departed from this earth but she has not truly left, she will still be alive and living in our hearts and minds. May our Lord bless and comfort your family during this time. She is resting in paradise and is truly living her best life. I am truly happy she is at peace.
